All music is at its sweetest when it is played in a sun-bathed forest clearing by an elder faun. Some fey are mischievous, some are wicked, some are both. Elder fauns meanwhile are usually just bored

In an endless search for entertainment, they've long since learned to while away their long lifespans with music, wine, and good company.

Their appearance is that of a fey cross between a goat and a human, giving them both a wild and a stubborn streak. 

Few things amuse an elder faun more than the arts, and they use it extensively as a means for magic, making them some of the first true bards.

Some more ambitious elder fauns (a rare trait), disdain the nonchalant frivolousness of their peers, and might instead put their charms to use as distinguished diplomats, court poets, and philosophers.
