With their thick fur and enormous stature, giant musk oxen are the first choice companions for many who’s path takes them through the frozen reaches of the world. They make ideal pack animals, and might even serve as windbreaks on cold nights, though often they can also be found in the wild, roaming the tundras in small herds. However, not all prize them as beasts of burden. There are those who hunt them for their warm fur and horns, leading them to become a rarer sight every passing winter.
